The Enterprise Systems Specialist helps manage, support, and enhance the organization’s enterprise IT systems, including both on premises and cloud based platforms. This position focuses on ensuring that core systems remain reliable, secure, and effective for departmental use, and reports directly to the Systems Administrator. The responsibilities include monitoring system health, reviewing configurations, validating integrations, and applying system updates. The specialist also supports cloud technologies, provides advanced technical assistance, and collaborates with teams across the organization to improve enterprise services. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. This is a 100% in person position. Not a remote position.
Essential Duties:
- Performs regular system checks to ensure enterprise systems are operating properly, reviewing logs, alerts, and issues to maintain reliability, security, and compliance.
- Sets up and maintains security features for enterprise platforms, including identity, access controls, authentication tools, and audit records to protect organizational data.
- Administers and supports enterprise systems such as directory services, server platforms, collaboration systems, and cloud‑based technologies.
- Supports cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, assisting with virtual machines, storage, identity services, and integrations.
- Supports endpoint management functions related to enterprise systems, including Microsoft Intune device configuration and imaging standards, in coordination with the Systems Administrator and IT support teams.
- Assists with maintaining and improving Intune imaging and deployment processes to ensure consistent and secure device provisioning.
- Builds, updates, and maintains system configurations, workflows, and integrations to improve efficiency, stability, and scalability.
- Manages system updates, patches, and platform changes, including testing changes, coordinating with IT teams, and preparing for releases or upgrades.
- Maintains system configurations, standards, and documentation, ensuring security rules, system settings, and procedures are kept current.
- Provides advanced technical support for problems that cannot be solved by others, including diagnosing and resolving complex system, cloud, or integration issues.
- Works with IT teams and departments to understand needs and translate them into practical enterprise system solutions, providing guidance and recommendations as needed.
- Coordinates with network, identity, security, cloud, and endpoint teams on updates, access management, imaging standards, and infrastructure requirements related to enterprise systems.
- Writes and updates system documentation, procedures, diagrams, and disaster recovery or business continuity plans.
- Works with vendors and service providers for support cases, patches, and system improvements.
- Suggests new technologies, features, or improvements to make systems more reliable, secure, scalable, and easier to manage.
- Tracks and reports system performance, cloud usage, availability, and issue trends to IT leadership.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Rate of Pay $61,279.00 annualized *Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- The formal education equivalent of an associate degree in computer science, mathematics, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Four years of experience supporting enterprise systems, infrastructure, or cloud‑based platforms.
- Two years of experience in a lead technical, senior support, or advanced administration role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of enterprise systems administration, security configuration, and core platform features.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, device configuration profiles, and imaging or deployment processes.
- Ability to review system issues, analyze complex problems, and implement effective technical solutions.
- Skill in maintaining and improving system configurations, workflows, and integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools, basic scripting, and systems reporting.
- Ability to organize work, provide technical guidance, and collaborate effectively with multiple departments.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical information clearly and producing accurate documentation.
- Ability to stay current with enterprise systems, endpoint management, and cloud technology updates and best practices.
