FLOOR PERSON - grade 1

SUMMARY: The Floor Person is responsible for floor management, housekeeping, and compliance with regulatory requirements of the assigned department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: - Check overhead structures for condensation, mop as necessary. - Fill tote rack in box room. - Retrieve available totes from cooler and place into required locations on the production floor. - Monitor product flow in packing bins to facilitate order fill and smooth product flow. - Monitor operations to ensure that needed supplies are readily available. - Other duties as assigned by supervisor. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
