SUMMARY:
The purpose of the grader is to examine product and remove defects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Remove or trim defective cuts of meat.
- Remove cuts of meat that don’t meet customer requirements.
- Check for excessive fat and skin.
- Place defective meat in rework bin.
- Check for foreign material.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required:
- None
Preferred:
- Previous food processing experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
