The Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of both the ticket sales team and the ticket operations team. This position will be part of the external leadership team, and will lead the charge towards reaching the department’s annual ticket sales revenue goal, inclusive of season ticket renewals and sales, single game ticket sales, and group ticket sales. A key component of the role will be leading and providing sales leadership, oversight, and training to the ticket sales staff.
Additionally, the Assistant AD for Ticket Sales and Operations will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the back end Paciolan infrastructure and ensuring ticketing accuracy and distribution for individual game tickets. They will supervise the reconciliation of ticket sales and analyze ticket data to provide sales and attendance trends. While the role will oversee the entirety of the ticket operations team, this individual will serve as the primary ticketing contact for football. The position will require travel with sports as needed to administer away game ticketing. Position will report to the Sr Associate AD for Marketing & Business Development.
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least 4 to 5 years of experience in a collegiate athletics ticketing role
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Experience working with Paciolan ticketing software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- Experience working at multiple Power 4 level ticket offices
- 7 years of experience in a collegiate athletics ticketing role
- Proven background in building positive relationships and partnerships
- Experience working with secondary market ticketing providers
- Experience working within Salesforce CRM
- Experience working with major third-party events such as concerts
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of the ticket sales funnel and the various ways in which we nurture leads through the sales process
- Knowledge of and compliance with specific NCAA, SEC, and institution rules that relate to this position
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to providing elite customer service skills
- Analytic proficiency skills
- Ability to guide decisions based upon related insights and reporting
- Ability to communicate goals, directives and expectations to the ticket sales and ticket operations teams
- Ability to provide leadership and training to all members of the ticket sales and ticket operations team

- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
