What You Will Do:

As a member of the team, you will be a key member of a dynamic team responsible for assembling & testing engines and APU’s that will deliver to our military and commercial customers around the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead CORE & Overall Continuous Improvement activities at the PSD site that drive tangible action and metric improvements across all product lines of the business
- Collect, standardize, report, and automate where possible, PSD level, product level, and flow line level KPI metrics and utilize that data to identify areas that require improvement plans
- Assess, establish and execute improvement plans for KPI metrics, CORE maturity level, Standard Production System (SPS), OpX/WAVE, Industry 4.0, and other P&W and RTX initiatives.
- Plan and lead business level CORE events such as adhoc & quarterly CORE Leadership Weeks, drive follow up actions, and provide regular report outs to leadership team
- Ensure robust process execution by creating & ensuring continual improvements of PFMEA’s across product lines in support of MRL and other product execution readiness activities.
- Establish & oversee CORE proficiency growth of the PSD employee population working in collaboration with Black Belt & Red-X Specialists to leverage PSD activities for broad employee skill growth.
- Support PSD business process audit preparations and follow up activities
- Travel required: 5-10% Minimal, infrequent travel may be required as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Advanced degree and 6+ months of Continuous Improvement, Engineering or Operations experience supporting a manufacturing environment; OR Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree and 4+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training and 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM); Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
- Proficient in the application of Lean Manufacturing principles, problem-solving and continuous improvement tools: QCPC, RCCA, Process Certification, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Six Sigma, etc.
- Certifications: CORE, ACE, SixSigma, TPM, LEAN or equivalent industry recognized certification
- Organizational and project management skills, PMP certification preferred.
- Aftermarket Aerospace and Overhaul and Repair (MRO) industry experience
- Working knowledge of shop practices, quality standards, processes and procedures
- Experience using Solumina MES, SAP ERP, MS Office Suite and Teams
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management, shop personnel and customers

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
