About This Role
Reporting to a Senior Sales Director, you will lead the development and implementation of planning at the account level for our Sam’s Club business, focusing on total volume, profit, and share growth within the Grocery segment. You will manage the business plan to achieve all volume, profit, and share objectives while implementing brand strategies and tactics in partnership with key customer decision makers and cross functional teams. You will use consumer insights and category management programs to influence customer decision making and drive sustainable growth.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Develop the annual strategic plan for the customer and present internally to align on growth opportunities
- Lead the joint business planning process with the customer, providing strategic leadership across assigned categories
- Use sales planning tools to create and manage customer plans
- Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer
- Monitor and update the customer’s overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending, and volume to achieve sales goals
- Conduct post event analysis to evaluate promotional performance and apply insights to future opportunities
- Manage deduction balances and conduct post audits
- Conduct category business reviews to discuss business performance, consumer trends, and growth opportunities
- Partner with category leadership resources to support category strategy execution
- Implement brand strategies by working closely with buyers, category managers, and merchandising leaders
- Apply category management practices to connect consumer and shopper insights to business opportunities
- Lead the customer through category reviews and execution
- Develop accurate monthly forecasts by tracking shipments, consumption data, and inventory changes, identifying risks and opportunities
- Sell in new items and partner with the customer team to achieve optimal distribution
- Collaborate with Commerce Marketing, Business Planning, Business Development, and Category Leadership teams to develop aligned programs
- Identify profitable opportunities to drive incremental growth
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience, including field sales or headquarters experience
- Experience conducting meetings with Sam’s Club or Walmart at the buyer level or above
- Experience managing trade budgets, spending, volume, and total profit and loss
- Experience in negotiations
- Knowledge of category management and supply chain

Compensation
Pay Range:$109,000-$159,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
