Essential Job Duties include:
1. Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers.
2. Use independent judgment in reviewing development and zoning proposals.
3. Review building permits for commercial and multi-family structures.
4. Provide detailed data and analysis of special projects.
5. Assist in coordinating citizen participation processes.
6. Attend preliminary meetings with developers.
7. Prepare and present staff recommendations on planning issues.
8. Facilitate meetings and represent the City at board meetings.
9. Assist in long-range city planning activities.
10. Analyze data and research for policy solutions.
11. Assist in defining goals for the Historic Preservation Commission.
12. Assist in grant applications and administration.
13. Provide technical guidance to various stakeholders.
14. Perform other related duties as required.
