About This Role
Arisa Health is currently seeking a dynamic Mental Health Professional Trainer to join our team. The Mental Health Professional Trainer will be responsible for all new hire Mental Health Professional training including Netsmart myAvatar, documentation, clinical services, crisis intervention, agency policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have an independent license and will have experience providing services in a Behavioral Health organization or with experience with a community mental health or healthcare organization.
Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider. Formed by the affiliation of 4 long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers, Arisa Health leads with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all. Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.
This position is classified as full- time, exempt (salaried) and reports to the Clinical Vice President.
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Netsmart Support:
- Provide clinical support and training in the Netsmart myAvatar Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Maintain and update Netsmart training materials, distributes reports to clinical leadership, and attends to support and training requests of MHPs and other clinical roles.
- Make recommendations on the clinical appropriateness of correction requests that are submitted. Provides additional support for tasks related to myAvatar as requested.
- Attend the myAvatar CWS calls, utilizes Netsmart Connect, and reviews other resources to support the clinical practices and workflow of the organization.
What we look for in a Mental Health Professional Trainer:
- Master's degree in counseling or social work
- Current independent Arkansas license (PhD, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPE)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Mental Health Professional is required.
- Excellent clinical, organization, and presentation skills are required for this position.
- A passion for training and development of other Mental Health Professionals.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to multitask and problem solve as needed.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
