About This Role
Arisa Health is seeking candidates to fill Mental Health Technician positions at Haven, a residential program for girls in Conway, AR. Mental Health Technicians provide direct care, supervision, and therapeutic support to adolescent girls ages 12-18 residing in a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP). This role is essential in creating a safe, structured, trauma-informed environment that promotes emotional regulation, skill development, and healing from complex trauma.
College students who are currently studying psychology or a related field are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt (hourly).
Work Hours: Wednesday-Sunday 3pm-11:30pm (40 hours) This position is eligible for shift differential.
What you will do as a Mental Health Technician at Arisa Health:
- Provide 24-7 supervision
- Assist with daily living skills, routines, cooking, and personal hygiene
- Support implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Assist with de-escalation of crisis situations using trauma-informed responses
- Transporting clients to appointments, school, activities, etc.
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Daily/nightly shift reports
What we look for in a Mental Health Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Valid driver's license is required
- Good computer skills
- The ability to organize and prioritize
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and climb stairs
- Must be comfortable sitting at a desk and typing frequently
- Must be able to work in a team setting and independently
