What You'll Do
Provides support to the nursing staff and patient care through the direction and guidance of licensed staff and leaders. Responsible for upholding Community Cares Standards. Responsible for ensuring patient safety. Precept MHW I employees. Observe verbal and non-verbal communication, monitor change in mood and behavior. Report observations to the assigned nurse.
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- One year of experience in inpatient psychiatry or an equitable treatment setting.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelors degree in psychology or related field
- Safe crisis management training
- Current patient care assistant or certified nurse assistant certification, HWC Verbal and Physical De-escalation
