The starting rate of pay for this position will be within 15% of the grade range minimum. The rate determined will depend on experience and qualifications.

Essential Job Duties:
1. Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers, maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive.
2. Provide customer service by handling telephone calls, greeting visitors, and dispatching requests of service.
3. Responsible for the data entry of daily work orders and maintenance of databases to effectively track work history and costs.
4. Respond to verbal and written communication from public and internal sources; input and monitor service requests utilizing the municipal management system.
5. Obtain quotes, prepare payment requests, submit purchase requisitions, procurement card requests, and place orders for materials and supplies.
6. Reconciliation of procurement card purchases.
7. Maintain office supplies, check-in deliveries, and coordinate the loaning of equipment to various activity groups, as needed.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Secondary Job Duties:
1. Perform clerical duties such as copying, faxing, filing, etc. and assisting staff with special projects, as needed.
2. Prepare bi-weekly payroll reporting time sheets and accompanying forms as required.
3. Assist with Division Safety Program as needed, including preparing sign-up sheets and supporting information.
4. Secondary duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Specialized training and/or additional college courses and 12 months of related experience are preferred.
3. Effectively communicate with others orally and in writing.
4. Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer and other related software programs. Must be able to effectively operate standard office equipment.
5. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee regularly is required to move and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required to accomplish computer and office work.
