About This Role
Shift: 4:30 PM-2:30 AM
Hourly Rate: $19.49 an hour + $1.00 shift differential
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will collect, track, analyze, and document production data to support quality standards and ensure the efficient flow of high-quality product through the manufacturing process. You will monitor production variables including weights, temperatures, and product specifications while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Procedures, and food safety standards.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Start each shift by reviewing the production schedule, completing pass-over with the previous shift, and performing safety checks on equipment and required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Report to assigned workstation, verify product being run, and ensure proper supplies are staged and available.
- Collect, track, analyze, and document production data, including weights, temperatures, nutritional information, downtime, and product samples.
- Monitor production processes to ensure proper function of automatic metering systems and take corrective action as needed.
- Inspect product quality, appearance, and weight while accurately documenting time and temperature points in recipe specifications.
- Obtain and evaluate product samples by recording net weight, size, and temperature, visually inspecting for defects, and initiating corrective actions for non-conforming product.
- Monitor packaging processes, equipment, and employees to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Procedures, United States Department of Agriculture requirements, and sanitation standards.
- Verify packaging accuracy by auditing samples, recording shortages or lightweights, and performing metal detector checks; notify appropriate personnel when out of compliance.
- Calibrate scales and thermometers and maintain accurate records, charts, and system entries for analysis.
- Enter and maintain data in systems including SAP, Infinity, CSD, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point documentation.
- Set up and test metal detectors and check-weighers, making adjustments or escalating issues to ensure compliance.
- Verify case codes and notify appropriate personnel to correct discrepancies.
- Manage product hold procedures by tagging and tracking non-compliant product.
- Report safety, quality, and process issues and communicate repair or adjustment needs to supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Complete end-of-shift pass-over communication or secure equipment and workspace as required.

- Access all levels of the facility and associated equipment as required.
Physical Requirements:

Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: - Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. - Performing consistent repetitive tasks. - Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
