**Essential Job Duties**:
Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers, maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees, and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive. Perform supervisory responsibilities which may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the City's policies and applicable laws. The incumbent is responsible for commercial, residential, recycle, roll off, MRF, compost site, bulk, yard waste, cart delivery and repair.
Commercial Trash – pick up commercial trash with commercial trucks and rear loaders.
Residential Trash – pick up residential trash with side loader and have knowledge of every route.
Recycle – pick up and sort recycling and have knowledge of every route.
Roll off – Pick up and deliver roll off containers.
MRF – Bale all recyclables using bobcat and forklift to move recyclables and load truck and pick up igloos.
Compost Site – Grind brush and leaves, load customers, recover Freon, turn compost rows with row turners, make bags of compost with bagger, and accept money from public at compost site.
Bulk – drive and operate bulk truck, pick up at bulky stops.
Yard Waste – pick up residential yard waste and help yard waste crew when they are behind.
Crew Leader – Serve as crew leader when needed and direct drivers for tasks at hand.
Cart Delivery & Repairs – Deliver and exchange residential carts and recycle bins. Fix and repair carts and wash out dirty carts. Perform other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience and/or training. Must possess a valid Arkansas Commercial Driver's License. Effectively communicate with others orally and in writing. Must be proficient in the use of various vehicles and equipment. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and outside weather conditions.
