The Springdale Board of Education is seeking applicants interested to serve as the Zone 2 school board member following the election of Nick Emerson to the Zone 1 position. The appointment shall last until the term for Zone 2 expires in 2028. Interested applicants must submit a petition signed by at least twenty (20) registered voters residing in Zone 2, along with a current resume expressing their intention to be considered for the position. Applicants should address their interest in serving, their qualifications, time availability, and key issues facing the board in the next few years. The petition and resume should be sent to Nick Emerson, Board President, by May 29, 2026. An interview process will occur on June 9, 2026, during the regular board meeting.
