SPC TECH - grade 1

SUMMARY:  The SPC technician collects products and performs Statistical Process Control Testing; Monitors the temperature of both product and product marination; Keeps record of process controls; and provides production assistance as required. In performing these duties the SPC technician uses basic math skills and statistical tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: - Read and write fluently in English - To monitor the process control to meet federal, state, local, and customer requirements and expectation and to provide assistance to production when required - Be able to perform basic math skills - Be able to perform basic record keeping - Be able to pay attention to detail - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds - Must be able to use basic statistical tools to include VCL, LCL and make correct decision making skills to guide acceptable SPC standards . SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
