What You Will Do: The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Special Processes Operator – Plating/Plasma for the 1st shift operations (Mon-Fri, 6:30AM to 3:00PM).  This site currently employs 250+ employees in total. - Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine requirements. - Prepare parts for coating operations. - Set up and operate grit blaster. - Set up and operate nickel plating and/or plasma equipment.  - Nickel plate / plasma coat to specifications outlined in work instructions. - Inspect parts to verify conformance with specifications. - Complete required paperwork. - Maintain clean work environment - Technical aptitude and desire to learn new skills is essential to this role.  - Ability to read and interpret work instructions. - Training is provided on-site. Qualifications You Must Have: - Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Qualifications We Prefer: - Prior experience within the aerospace industry. - Prior experience with specialized coating application or plating. - Fanuc robotic controls experience.
