Role summary: The (USA) Associate Merchant supports category management by assisting with supplier negotiations, purchase order administration, and item setup for both stores and online channels. About the team: The Associate Merchant team plays a vital role in delivering the right products and value by supporting category strategy, assortment planning, and supplier relationships. What you'll do: Support merchants in supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories. Assist in resolving supplier issues and facilitate the setup of new suppliers for stores and online channels. Execute customer communication and education programs, ensuring accurate product page content and search query management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement category features, modular layouts, and promotional activities. Analyze sales and category performance data to support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning. Guide suppliers in developing customer-focused processes and maintain compliance with company policies and standards. What you'll bring: Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within a retail or merchandising environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform sales, business, and data analysis to support category strategy and decision-making. Proficiency in managing product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional feature execution across multiple channels. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence business partners. Ability to support budgeting, forecasting, and category financial performance tracking aligned with organizational goals. Familiarity with e-commerce management and digital tools to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
