Role summary: The Associate Merchant, Non Alc Beer, Wine, and Spirits will play a leading role in one of the most exciting growth spaces in Adult Beverage. This role owns and supports the subcategory strategy, P&L, supplier partnerships, item setup, promotional planning, and execution across stores and digital channels. As Non-Alc continues to gain momentum with customers, this merchant will help define how the category shows up at scale, using data, customer insights, and strong cross-functional partnership to build a roadmap for long-term growth. This is a high-visibility opportunity to shape a fast-moving, trend-forward category that is still being written. About the team: The Adult Beverage Merchandising team operates a complex, high-scale business that brings together strategy, analytics, supplier and distributor partnerships, compliance, store operations, and digital execution. On the Beer team, strategy moves from insight to shelf at scale, requiring strong judgment and the ability to connect assortment, pricing, supply, and in-store execution across a highly visible portfolio. The team moves fast, partners broadly, and works at the intersection of customer trends and operational excellence to deliver growth. What you'll do: Own and deliver the Non-Alc Beer, Wine, and Spirits P&L while shaping strategy for one of Adult Beverage’s most exciting growth categories. Build and execute plans across assortment, pricing, modular strategy, digital, and store execution. Partner with suppliers, distributors, and internal teams to spot trends, unlock growth, and bring innovation to customers. Support negotiations, item setup, and issue resolution to ensure accurate execution across channels. Use sales, customer, and market data to inform forecasting, budgeting, and category decisions. Collaborate across planning, replenishment, modular, operations, marketing, and digital while leveraging AI and data tools to move faster. What you'll bring: Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within a retail or e-commerce environment. Strong proficiency in category strategy development and execution to support business growth and customer needs. Ability to analyze data effectively, leveraging insights to inform purchasing decisions and inventory management. Skilled in managing purchase orders, supplier issue resolution, and item setup processes to ensure operational accuracy. Experience collaborating cross-functionally to implement promotional features and modular assortment strategies. Demonstrated capability to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking at the category or subcategory level. Excellent communication skills to build partnerships and influence stakeholders across merchandising and supply chain teams. The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
