Garver is currently seeking a Commissioning Agent for our Buildings Team, with a primary focus on building system commissioning. Responsibilities include: work on the Buildings Team as a Commissioning Agent, perform or assist in commissioning activities including commissioning plan creation, commissioning related design reviews, organizing commissioning meetings, project commissioning progress reports, functional performance testing and final report creation; develop owner project requirements; develop pre-functional and functional tests, observe equipment start-ups, and prepare reports; identify, document, and help resolve field and building system performance issues; perform multiple project tasks simultaneously and balance workload to meet project schedules; perform calculations integral to design review and commissioning acceptance of systems; become familiar with and apply applicable codes and building commissioning standards; assist with contractor and client training on building systems; review and assist with project close-out process; attend coordination meetings with clients/owners and contractors as needed; conduct facility condition and energy assessments; and anticipate job functions to include business development, marketing, and project management duties, including identifying new opportunities that may have synergistic benefit with our existing business. Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field preferred; current commissioning certification preferred; and 2-5 years of commissioning or related experience.
