Civil CAD Technician

CEI Engineering Associates, Inc. in Bentonville, AR is looking to hire a full-time Civil CAD Technician to provide AutoCAD design and drafting support for our civil engineering company. As a Civil CAD Technician, you are a vital member of our design team. Each day you come to work eager to tackle a variety of site development projects that include commercial, industrial, public works, and more. You take each project from concept to construction documents, and every step requires your excellent drafting skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D. For each project, you detail the site geometry, utilities, grading, and drainage, as well as the erosion and sediment control. You analyze surveys and field notes, among other materials to identify potential constraints on the project and keep each project on time and within budget. You also research deeds, ordinances, technical reports, and various codes to ensure compliance. In collaboration with project managers, you keep them updated on your progress and pitch in on the design staff wherever else needed. Qualifications include 2+ years of CAD experience, a CAD certificate, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience, high proficiency with AutoCAD, and the full range of visual depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors.
