Role summary: The (USA) Data Analyst II plays a critical role in supporting business decision-making through comprehensive data analysis and visualization. This position involves identifying relevant data sources, ensuring data quality, and applying statistical techniques to uncover insights that drive business improvements. Collaborating across multiple domains, the analyst contributes to developing business cases and supports project delivery. The role requires proficiency in data management, exploratory analysis, and effective communication of findings to influence stakeholders and support strategic objectives within a dynamic corporate environment. About the team: The Fraud Detection Operations team focuses on safeguarding the Spark Driver platform by identifying and mitigating fraudulent activities. Combining data analysis, investigative techniques, and collaboration, the team develops actionable fraud signals and detection strategies. Members work closely with Product, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Care Operations to enhance tools and policies. The team values clear communication and thorough documentation to support platform integrity. This group leverages behavioral, geolocation, and metadata insights to anticipate emerging threats and continuously improve fraud prevention efforts, ensuring a secure and trustworthy environment for all stakeholders. What you'll do: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, correlations, and business insights supporting decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable analytics solutions. Support data quality management by profiling, cleansing, and validating data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports using appropriate tools to effectively communicate findings. Assist in identifying suitable data sources and support data integration efforts across multiple business domains. Contribute to process improvements and support project activities aligned with business objectives. Mentor junior analysts and share best practices in data analysis and visualization techniques. What you'll bring: Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools, including SQL and Python, to support business insights and decision-making. Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or PowerBI to effectively communicate complex data findings. Knowledge of data quality management practices, including profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure reliable data outputs. Ability to collaborate across multiple business domains, understanding relevant metrics and business contexts. Familiarity with exploratory data analysis and statistical methods to identify trends and support recommendations. Strong communication skills to present data-driven insights clearly to stakeholders and influence outcomes. The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
