What you'll do... What You'll Do Provide strategic and operational leadership for Walmart’s centralized facilities emergency support function, establishing response strategies, operating models, escalation protocols, and performance expectations for facility-impacting events. Build and develop a high-performing 24/7 organization through talent development, coaching, succession planning, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. Lead enterprise response to power outages, hurricanes, severe weather, natural disasters, refrigeration events, and other critical facility incidents from preparation and forecasting through recovery. Develop and execute generator dispatch, temporary power, and asset staging strategies that prioritize resources based on facility needs, operational impact, asset risk, and event severity. Coordinate cross-functional response across facilities trades, field teams, emergency management, operations, utilities, vendors, and other stakeholders to enable rapid decision-making and effective recovery. Leverage data, automation, AI, weather intelligence, and operational insights to improve event forecasting, resource allocation, workflow management, and emergency response effectiveness. Establish performance metrics and conduct post-event analysis to identify trends, measure outcomes, strengthen preparedness, and continuously improve emergency response processes and capabilities. What You'll Bring Proven leadership experience in emergency operations, facilities management, program management, business continuity, disaster recovery, contact center operations, or a related operational environment. Strong strategic and operational leadership capabilities with experience managing complex, time-sensitive events and coordinating resources across multiple teams and stakeholders. Ability to use operational data, forecasts, risk assessments, and financial insights to prioritize resources and make effective decisions in rapidly changing situations. Experience developing scalable processes, leveraging technology and automation, and driving continuous improvement across complex operations. Strong communication and executive presence with the ability to lead through ambiguity, influence cross-functional partners, and communicate effectively during critical events. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
