What You'll Do Define Product Vision and Strategy Own the long-term product vision and strategy across multiple product portfolios and complex customer problems. Evaluate market trends, customer insights, competitive landscapes, and business priorities to identify growth opportunities. Develop strategic frameworks, whole-product concepts, and go-to-market approaches that drive adoption and business impact. Influence platform investments and adjacent product strategies across the enterprise. Represent Walmart externally through thought leadership and industry engagement. Champion Customer-Centric Innovation Establish enterprise-wide practices for customer discovery, design thinking, journey mapping, and problem validation. Drive a culture of deep customer understanding and evidence-based prioritization. Identify and size emerging opportunities that create meaningful value for customers and the business. Lead efforts to uncover and solve complex, cross-functional customer problems. Drive Product Execution and Operational Excellence Lead strategic roadmaps for multiple products, product families, or platforms. Govern product lifecycle management from concept through launch, scaling, and optimization. Establish product management standards, operating rhythms, governance models, and quality expectations across the organization. Ensure product decisions align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and ethical standards. Leverage Data, Analytics, and Emerging Technologies Guide advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making to influence major business outcomes. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to inform product and platform investments. Partner with engineering leaders to balance innovation, scale, technical debt, and long-term platform health. Champion responsible AI adoption and assess the feasibility, risks, and ethical implications of AI-powered capabilities. Influence Across the Enterprise Partner with C-suite executives and senior leaders to align strategic priorities and complex decisions. Build compelling business cases and narratives that influence stakeholders across functions. Shape Walmart’s product management discipline through best practices, competency models, and career frameworks. Mentor senior product leaders and contribute to organizational capability building. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Extensive experience leading product strategy and execution for large-scale digital products, platforms, or ecosystems. Demonstrated success influencing executive stakeholders and driving enterprise-wide initiatives. Strong experience using customer insights, market analysis, and data-driven methodologies to develop product strategies. Experience leading complex cross-functional organizations without direct . Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent). Experience building and scaling global consumer, enterprise, marketplace, retail, or technology products. Deep knowledge of modern product management practices, platform strategy, AI-enabled experiences, and go-to-market execution. Proven track record of developing product management talent and influencing organizational capability.
