GIS Technician

Essential Job Duties include creating, editing, and maintaining GIS features and attributes; performing routine GIS data maintenance; digitizing and georeferencing source materials; producing maps and map exports; completing spatial analysis tasks; supporting field-to-office data workflows; operating GPS equipment; visually verifying features in the field; responding to requests for information and services; researching records within City and County governments; and coordinating with departments to clarify needs and deliver accurate products. Minimum Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of GIS-related field experience or a High School Diploma or GED and six years of GIS-related field experience.
