Horticultural Assistant II

Essential Job Duties include providing good customer service, assisting with cultivation and care of plants, maintaining garden records, performing chemical applications, and designing irrigation systems. This position may require after-hours or weekend work and includes secondary duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications consist of a high school diploma or GED with three years of related experience or a B.S. degree in Horticulture, a valid Driver's License, and proficiency in computer and horticulture equipment operation. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and is occasionally exposed to moderate to loud noise levels, fumes, and outside weather conditions.
