<p>Olsson’s Facilities Engineering and Design Team delivers innovative, high‑performance electrical solutions for technically complex projects across industries such as healthcare, education, data centers, commercial developments, and military facilities.</p>
<p>As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in both project execution and team leadership. This position is ideal for an experienced electrical engineer who enjoys mentoring others, working directly with clients, and guiding technical direction across complex building projects.</p>
<p>You’ll help elevate design quality, support client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of the South Facilities &amp; Design team.</p>
<p>What You’ll Do</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead complex projects by overseeing electrical system design and supporting multidisciplinary coordination</li>
<li>Set quality standards by developing and upholding QA/QC processes and electrical design best practices</li>
<li>Mentor and develop engineers and designers, providing technical guidance, reviews, and career support</li>
<li>Support design strategy and planning, partnering with project managers and discipline leaders to deliver effective solutions</li>
<li>Work directly with current and future clients, serving as a trusted technical advisor and participating in client meetings and pursuits</li>
<li>Support business growth by contributing electrical expertise during early project planning and opportunity development</li>
<li>Continuously improve workflows, tools, and standards to strengthen team efficiency, consistency, and innovation</li>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering</li>
<li>10+ years of experience designing electrical systems for complex building projects</li>
<li>Professional Engineer (PE) license</li>
<li>Strong experience with power distribution, lighting, and low‑voltage systems for facilities such as healthcare, laboratories, data centers, and mission‑critical environments</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit</li>
<li>Experience leading technical teams, reviewing work, and setting electrical design standards</li>
<li>Clear communication skills and comfort engaging directly with clients</li>
</ul>
