Maintenance Tech I AR

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Perform routine troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
•Provide labor to assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
•Respond to and address basic technical issues.
•Assist the Equipment Planner and Continuous Improvement Technician.
•Complete assigned rebuild work orders.
•Utilize maintenance EAM software to track all work progress and materials to ensure timely completion of work orders.
•Identify and communicate parts needed to supervisor or Parts Room Coordinator.
•Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
•Participate in process development activities and projects.
•Contribute to continuous improvement projects.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)
•Must possess a high school diploma
•Must have excellent safety and attendance records
•Must have a minimum of 1 year of mechanical background or 1 year as an Advanced Operator.
•Basic experience maintaining/troubleshooting machine control systems required
•Knowledge of OSHA Industrial Safety standards and practices
•Welding/fabricating/layout skills preferred
•Good communication/documentation skills, ability to read and write English
•Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams
•Ability to work at heights up to 30 ft.
•Machine Tool experience a plus
•Basic computer skills required
•Forklift certification required

•Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone
•Frequent sitting and standing, as well as occasional bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and reaching above shoulder level.
•Must be able to stand at least 8-12 hours
•Work environment includes occasional noise >85db and hot and cold temperatures.
•Requires ability to read, write, calculate and reason.
