Maintenance Worker IV Drainage

This position offers the opportunity to earn up to $120 of incentive pay per week once you have your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and have completed City provided training focused on safety, equipment operation, and skills specific to the job—setting you up for success. Safety/Security Sensitive Designation: This is a safety/security sensitive position for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment and is subject to random drug and alcohol screening. 1. Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers, maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees (especially members of his or her own team), and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive. Provide supervision of Maintenance III and other workers in the absence of the Crew Leader or lead workers. 2. Operate heavy construction equipment such as, dozer, gradall, backhoe, grader, bobcat skid loader, dump truck, front end loader and rollers. 3. Assist with basic grade construction of sidewalks, street, trails and drainage. 4. Perform drainage maintenance including clean drains, install drainage pipes and clean ditches. 5. Perform other duties as assigned. Secondary Job Duties 1. Move equipment and materials to and from job sites. 2. Maintain equipment through daily maintenance, checks and grease applications. 3. Assist with removal of snow and ice from City roads. 4. Perform traffic control and assistance with moving traffic through and/or around job sites. 5. Secondary duties as assigned.
