Job Summary:
Under general direction, the position is responsible for overseeing a team of individual contributor employees responsible for ensuring that driver applicants meet J.B. Hunt's driver hiring standards and DOT regulations.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee team's performance to ensure timely and accurate completion of application through on-boarding process, consistent with department goals and compliance requirements
Monitor call center stats to ensure quality and compliance with all company policies and expectations, and that proper phone etiquette is being used
Perform personnel functions such as interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, time/attendance and any disciplinary actions
Complete various daily and weekly reports to track employee and team productivity
Communicate with internal personnel and external partners to facilitate driver hiring by coordinating the hiring and on-boarding process
Coach and counsel staff to develop/improve employee performance standards and offering guidance and recommendations on solutions
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years combination of education, experience and training
OR completion of the J.B. Hunt Manager in Training Program
OR related management or supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of management experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field

Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
Proficient deductive reasoning skills
Ability to communicate effectively across levels within the organization

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
