Role summary: The Manager, Operations Improvement leads the development and execution of comprehensive safety initiatives within maintenance operations. About the team: The Upstream Facility Services Safety team is committed to safeguarding over 7,000 field technicians by developing and executing comprehensive safety programs that improve service quality and minimize incidents. This team leads safety training, audits, and compliance efforts while collaborating with stakeholders to drive continuous process improvements. With expertise in skilled trades, licensing, and regulatory standards across multiple states, the team supports operational excellence and workforce well-being. Their leadership ensures adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, fostering a secure and efficient work environment through effective change management and cross-functional collaboration. What you'll do: Plan and lead safety meetings, accident reviews, and safety recognition events to promote a strong safety culture. Develop and deliver clear presentations and strategies to align stakeholders and management on safety objectives. Monitor and report on carrier compliance and emerging safety trends to leadership. Build and maintain relationships with external transportation leaders and carriers to enhance safety and capacity. Oversee carrier qualification processes and ensure adherence to company safety standards. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify improvement opportunities and support continuous safety enhancements. Provide coaching and development to associates, fostering accountability and high performance. What you'll bring: Proven experience in safety training, safety audits, and accident prevention within complex operational environments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, develop, and motivate teams to achieve safety goals. OSHA certification or equivalent safety qualification demonstrating expertise in regulatory compliance. Proficiency in conducting accident analysis and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage stakeholders and drive consensus. Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners and internal business units. Strong analytical skills to monitor safety performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
