Medical Assistants (MA) in the medical office setting supports providers by delivering direct and indirect patient care in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. The MA may assist with clinical procedures, maintains accurate documentation, and provides administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The MA functions within their defined scope of practice (based on office type clinic/HOD), under supervision, and in alignment with Mercy's mission and standards of care.

Position Details:

Location: Mercy Clinic Siloam Springs

Shift: Part-Time; Monday - Thursday

Hours: 8:00a-5:00p

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant:

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire .

Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a physician's office.

Certified Medical Assistant:

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Certification : Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration ( RMA, CCMA, CMA, EMT and/or Paramedic are also accepted). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
