The Merchant – Family Needs & Hand Cleansing supports the growth of a dynamic Body Care business by identifying trends, launching innovative brands and products, and partnering cross functionally to deliver the right assortment, price, and customer experience. This role plays an important part in evolving Body Care through customer insights, digital acceleration, and merchandising strategies that make everyday routines more engaging, discoverable, and relevant. Oversee channel strategy decisions, collaborating with supply chain and merchandising teams for optimal alignment. Direct assortment planning, modular layouts, and promotional strategies across store and online channels. Manage and develop team members, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and career guidance. Utilize data analytics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement in category performance. What you'll bring: Proven experience in category strategy development and execution for moderately complex categories. Strong financial management skills, including profit and loss ownership and budget forecasting. Expertise in supplier management, negotiation, and performance tracking. Ability to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform decisions. Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing teams to achieve business objectives. Proficiency in leveraging data analytics and digital tools to drive category performance. Effective decision-making skills with a focus on customer-centric and omni-channel strategies. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
