The Recreation Operations Superintendent supports the planning, coordination, and daily operations of recreation facilities, programs, and services, including the Rogers Aquatics Center and Rogers Activity Center. This position oversees staff, maintains high-quality facilities, and ensures a safe, welcoming environment for the community. This role also plays a key part in hosting and managing tournaments and events, helping position Rogers as a destination for youth athletics and community activities.

Since most recreation activities must take place outside of conventional working hours, the Operations Superintendent must expect to routinely work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel may be required for training, continuing education, or meetings. It is understood that a career in the field of Parks and Recreation is uniquely demanding. This position requires a readiness to do everything necessary for the City of Rogers to offer a full range of sport, recreation, leisure, cultural, educational, and community activities.
