Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to for our Pediatrics Clinic in Springdale, AR. The Medical Assistant assists in patient care under the direction of the clinicians and Clinic Nurses, assisting in providing excellent primary health care to our patients. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday 8-5. CMA or RMA certification and Spanish/English or Marshallese/English bilingual ability is required.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompt service for patients.
Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol.
Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills.
Administers medications via injection.
Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency.
Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.
Skills
Proficient spelling necessary.
Ability to work and function independently and within a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
Proficient knowledge in computer software such as Microsoft Office Software.
Able to perform proficiently on current practice management system and/or electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
Spanish/English or Marshallese/English bilingual ability required.

Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking a front desk Patient Coordinator for our Primary & Specialty Care clinic located in Springdale, AR. Must have strong computer skills, excellent communication, organizational ability, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual speaking ability of English & Spanish is required. The schedule for this position is fully in-person, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Provides exceptional customer service during all aspects of a patient visit to Community Clinic.
Ensures patient information is entered into the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and updated regularly for all patients.
Ensures patient payments are collected, posted correctly to accounts and collections are balanced daily.
Coordinates with Patient Financial Services on required patient information in the EMR, payments and insurance inquiries.
Schedules patient appointments appropriately, based on patient needs, provider requests and approved scheduling guidelines.
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment to ensure all professional appearance of the Clinic at all times.
Keeps management team informed of all activities and on goings in the medical clinic.
Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA.HITECH, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA.
