Position: Principal Product Manager – Associate Enablement & AI Tools Job Location: 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716 Duties: Defines vision and strategy for enterprise associate-facing tools including My Walmart app and AI agent platforms, establishing internal standards and best practices for associate experience, workplace safety, and model monitoring. Owns and evolves large-scale associate platforms including the Walmart Notification Platform and Activity Management Planner, overseeing feature development, stability, and integration with broader associate tools and experiences. Develops and executes product roadmaps for associate applications (My Walmart) and AI agents, prioritizing features that improve associate productivity, agent guardrails, and performance thresholds. Leverages advanced analytics by collecting and analyzing associate app usage data, model performance metrics, and user feedback to turn insights into actionable priorities for feature enhancements, new agent capabilities, and performance improvements. Leads cross-functional collaboration with Business operations, Security, Retail Intelligence, Data Science, InfoSec, Engineering, and Analytics teams to deliver associate productivity apps, agent monitoring dashboards, and safety guardrails. Manages risks related to associate data privacy, model hallucinations, and agent reliability while defining user acceptance criteria for app quality and agent performance. Communicates app adoption metrics and model performance data, to executive leadership, securing buy-in for associate experience improvements and AI model rollouts. Establishes performance benchmarks for app responsiveness, AI response times, accuracy, and safety compliance, measuring progress through usage analytics and model benchmarks. Conducts competitive analysis and industry benchmarking of competing associate apps and AI agent platforms, providing expertise on market trends and best practices for associate tools. Operates in a highly complex and rapidly evolving environment involving mobile platforms and large language models, requiring deep expertise in product management, AI systems, and enterprise-scale software development. Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related area and 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related area and 7 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management. Skills Required: Must have experience with: Experience with product road mapping and prioritization using Jira; Experience with product backlog management with Jira; Experience with stakeholder management and communication via Confluence and Slack; Experience with User Experience (UX) design principles with Figma and Sketch; Experience with data analysis and decision-making using SQL and Excel; Experience with agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban; Experience with product development; Experience gathering customer satisfaction and feedback management through user testing and surveys; Experience with project planning and execution; Experience conducting market research and analysis using Tableau and Google Analytics; Experience conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) in lower environments prior to releasing features in production.
