As a member of Garver’s Fayetteville Water Design Center, the Process Engineer will be responsible for taking water and wastewater design engineering projects from conceptual planning to bid ready documents under the direction of Senior Process Engineers and Project Managers. This may include design calculations, process and/or hydraulic modeling, facility and equipment layout development, equipment vendor coordination, management and coordination of support discipline activities, and coordination with regional offices and regulatory agencies as well as performing quality reviews of other teams’ designs. This position will be responsible for performing a wide array of tasks related to water and wastewater facilities, such as: • Developing conceptual level designs for water and wastewater treatment systems • Developing detailed designs, including contract documents (plans and specifications) • Coordinating with process mechanical team for detailed design services for treatment facilities • Preparing design calculations, coordinating with other support discipline activities on projects, coordinating with regional Garver offices and construction cost estimating, • Be included in client meetings and industry conferences • Support of water and wastewater process evaluation, selection, and implementation • Oversee the development of construction drawings and 3D models pertaining to hydraulic structures.
