Assist on a variety of projects including processing field crew data, document reproduction for acquisitions, and quantity computations. Create vertical and horizontal control survey networks, photogrammetry surveys, survey maps, 3D scanning models, plats, and legal descriptions. Provide CAD support for all Garver Survey projects. Work with state-of-the-art surveying equipment such as Trimble GPS, total stations, digital levels, robotic equipment, 3-D scanning and S.L.A.M. equipment, and UAS LiDAR and Photogrammetry systems. Physical demands include standing/walking with tools, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires 2+ years of survey experience or an AS/BS degree in Survey Sciences, knowledge of survey principles, willingness to travel 10%, and strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred skills include PLS licensure, DOT standards experience, Civil 3D/OpenRoads, transportation/roadway engineering plan production, proficiency with Trimble equipment/software, UAS surveys, and Lidar data extraction.
