Reserve Campus Safety Officer

This position provides security and protection over persons and various University buildings and/or property within the University community by enforcing the rules and regulations of the University. The opening is for a Reserve Officer, who is not on the schedule, but fills in for officers on vacation days, sick days, etc.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position as defined by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). This means that employee's inability or impaired ability to perform job-related tasks could result in a direct threat to their safety and/or the safety of others.

Position responsibilities include providing security, enforcing campus rules, investigating incidents, and assisting in emergencies. Applicants must meet state certification requirements for an armed "Commissioned Security Officer".
