Timesheet - After School Tutor

Job Description

Provide individualized and small-group tutoring in core academic subjects (math, English, Science and Social Studies) at Ridgeview Group Home in Springdale.

Responsibilities

Support residents in using educational technology and online learning platforms. Maintain appropriate documentation of tutoring sessions and student progress. Adapt tutoring methods to accommodate different learning styles and educational needs.

Experience

Knowledge of general academic subjects and study strategies.

Ability to remain calm, patient, and supportive when working with youth experiencing frustration or academic challenges.

Understanding of truma-informed and strength-based approaches preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Social WOrk, Psychology or related field preferred. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with group home staff.
