About the team: The team supports Walmart Real Estate by managing civil engineering projects focused on efficient site planning and design. They oversee external consultants, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and drive cost-effective solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance. What you'll do: Lead and manage civil engineering design and development for real estate projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local codes. Oversee external consultants by establishing deliverables, reviewing documentation, and approving expenditures. Drive site planning, technical due diligence, and entitlement processes, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues. Develop and implement cost containment strategies by identifying inefficiencies and recommending design alternatives. Provide supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team. Promote adherence to company policies, ethics, and standards while supporting continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local building codes.
