Warehouse Manager

The City of Fayetteville is committed to attracting, engaging, and rewarding a multi-generational workforce. This is a safety/security sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening. Essential duties include performing supervisory responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, and training employees; overseeing the Warehouse and small equipment repair shop for Water/Sewer/Meter; managing daily operations of the Warehouse; ensuring inventory management and purchasing; maintaining effective working relationships; and developing and implementing partial weekly audits. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, four years of inventory management or control experience, one year of water/wastewater experience, and two years of supervisory experience. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with tanker (N) endorsement within six months of employment.
