Highlands Oncology Group

Highlands Oncology Group, founded in 1996 by physicians Thaddeus Beck, Daniel Bradford, and Malcolm Hayward, is one of the largest physician-owned cancer programs in the United States. Based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the organization operates as an independent, multidisciplinary cancer center serving Northwest Arkansas and surrounding regions including northeast Oklahoma and southern Missouri.

The organization provides a full spectrum of cancer care services including medical oncology, radiation oncology, palliative care, specialty surgery, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, spiritual care, social work, and genetic counseling. Highlands operates multiple locations across Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Mountain Home, with state-of-the-art facilities featuring infusion suites, pharmacies, laboratories certified under Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, and advanced imaging services including PET, CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound.

Highlands Oncology has experienced significant growth over the past seven years, more than doubling in size with physician headcount increasing from 16 to over 30, staff expanding from 360 to over 800 employees, and clinical trials growing from 70 to nearly 150. The organization is nationally recognized for innovation in oncology and operates specialized programs including the Center for Chest Care and the C.A.R.E. Clinic (Cancer Assessment and Risk Education).
