Founded in 1934 by O.D. and Ruth McKee, the company has grown from a small bakery selling 5-cent cakes to one of America's leading snack cake manufacturers. McKee Foods produces Little Debbie snack cakes (America's number one snack cake brand), Drake's Cakes, Sunbelt Bakery granola and cereal, and Fieldstone Bakery products. The company remains privately held and family-owned, now in its third and fourth generations of family leadership.
